Field Trip!

Excited to be off to NYC for WORKTECH 10 — a day packed with great presentations on the topics of workplace design, technological impacts to business, generational research, and much more! Posts will resume on Thurs., May 20, but I’ll be tweeting the good stuff throughout the event.

Clock Shopping

Ever since we got the new digital cable box (which for some dumb reason no longer has a digital time display, WTF?), I’ve been hunting a sleek, affordable wall clock. Here are a few favorite finds:

From CB2, a great source for affordable modern accents.

.

From Chiasso, they lean more contemporary than modern, but this clock is simple and clean.

.

From the Little Clock Shop, a random Google search yielded these gems.

.

From Fitzsu Society, another random find and oh, how I love the Alessi products.

Hand(some) Lettering

WATERCOLOR TYPOGRAPHY BY SASHA PROOD

Seems I can’t  get enough hand lettering, especially when it’s something as elegantly crafted as Sasha Prood’s illustrations.

Nice Package!

TOPSHOP MAKE UP LINE BY SARAH THORNE

As a designer for the cosmetics industry (and a true beauty junkie), I’m always on the lookout for pretty make up packaging. Here, the playful simplicity and hand rendered type takes the fuss out of getting lovely. See more from Sarah Thorne on her site.
