Love Color? Sit On It!

Not sure how I feel about them (prefer the mugs, really), but the Pantone Chair has been all over the feeds from ICFF. Looks like it was a brilliant show, but sadly I’m hitting NYC for another conference the day after.

Get more info on the Pantone Chair here, and see even more fabulous finds from ICFF on Design Milk.

THE CALLIGRAFFITI OF NIELS “SHOE” MEULMAN

Part tagging, part calligraphy and a dash of fine art, Mr. Shoe’s calligraffiti is most compelling — especially in process. Take a shortcut and see more at monsieur bandit, or get lost in the work on Muelman’s own site.

Hello, Sweet Prints

ODE TO PEARS BY LAB PARTNERS

My brother refers to pears as “nasty, sandy apples,” but I quite enjoy them. I also love the work of Lab Parters, and could squander hours just pouring through their luscious portfolio.

Get Outta My Head, Universe!

JUST WHEN I WAS THINKING THAT CAT BOXES ARE TOO MESSY…

While hanging with friends this weekend, we got acquainted with a super sweet cat. The feline vibe is very different (we’ve got two dogs), and I started missing my own cats who passed six years ago.

So what do I find in my morning news feeds? Why the Modcat Litter Box! Great style, many colors, reusable liner, and a shape that limits the temptation for the dogs to snack on kitty treats. Hmmm…
