Stolen Jewels

JEWELRY BY MIKE AND MAAIKE

Industrial design studio, Mike and Maaike, crafted these unique, concept-driven wearables. They began their process by “stealing” low-res images from an online search of the world’s most famous gems. The graphics were then resampled to a pixelated form and the resulting visuals applied to a leather medium to fashion the jewelry.

See additional pieces from their line of “Stolen Jewels” and more of their work available for purchase through Velvet Da Vinci.

Watch It, Bub

I’m somewhat batty over these Nimbo Slap-on Watches. No fussy links, snaps or buckles, just flap it on your wrist and go. Available online from Urban Materials + Acessories (UM+A), these unisex timepieces come in digital or analog, and a variety of colors. Can you guess which one I want?
